The National Day of Prayer is next Thursday May 7th! It is a time for us to come together to pray for the leaders, direction, and people of our nation. The National Day of Prayer was signed into law in 1952 by President Harry S. Truman and a joint congress . The number of celebrations has been growing since then, and there are now estimated over 40,000 events all over the country!
